Very Cool Site – WeatherSpark
Published March 14, 2011 Uncategorized Leave a CommentTags: climate, cloud, forecast, history, precipitation, rain, snow, temperature, weather, WeatherSpark
WeatherSpark is a database of past weather conditions for every (?) location on earth. Enter a city or zip code, hit the ‘Search’ button at the top of the WeatherSpark page and you will be presented with the daily weather conditions for the past few decades. Scroll with the pointer at the bottom of the page to navigate through the available years of records. I checked a few major cities (Europe and US) and found 60 years of records were available. Only 30 years were available in my area (St.Louis). Even though my area gets short changed, I think putting all this weather information in one easy to search location is a very cool thing.
