Inuit Snow Goggles – These Could Be A Thing

Snow goggles are a type of eyewear traditionally used by the Inuit people of the Arctic to prevent snow blindness.[2] The goggles are traditionally made of a piece of bone or ivory pierced with slits but new ones may be made with wood.

Palin Supports Canadian Style Healthcare

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin — who has gone to great lengths to hype the supposed dangers of a big government takeover of American health care — admitted over the weekend that she used to get her treatment in Canada’s single-payer system. “We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada,” Palin said in her first Canadian appearance since stepping down as governor of Alaska. “And I think now, isn’t that ironic?”

Duct Tape – Nothing Can Stop It!

A fisherman chartered a small plane to fly into the Alaskan backcountry for some fishing. The fisherman unwisely left fresh bait in the plane, which attracted a bear–this being bear country and all–and the animal then tore the airplane apart. The image you see above is the trashed plane.

The fisherman used duct tape and plasic sheeting to make the repairs that you see in the picture below. He flew the repaired plane home.
