Point Nemo – The Most Remote Place On Earth


According to RedBull.com –

“Point” Nemo isn’t actually a bit of land. It’s the spot in the ocean furthest from land, in any direction. The nearest spot for potential landfall? 1,670 miles away, either in the Pitcairn Islands, Moto Nui in the Easter Islands, or Maher Island in Antarctica.

While sailing near Point Nemo, often, the nearest people are the astronauts on the International Space Station.
